Little India Australia, is a non-profit community organization and has been successfully engaging with the community in NSW. Our primary objective is to promote Indian cultural heritage, friendship and integration within multicultural Australia.

Little India in Harris Park’s vision, is to grow and strengthen the business district of Harris Park by positioning it as the “Little India” of Australia and develop the economic corridor between Australian and Indian trade.

Harris Park is a thriving, dynamic, multicultural hub known for its blend of cultures and large Indian population. Majority of local businesses are from the Indian sub-continent background, referred as ‘Little India’ of Australia. It is a precinct of Indian eateries, 22ct gold Jewellery , Indian spices and fashion which mark it as vibrant hub of Australian Indian community.

In-depth knowledge of utilisation of 3.5 millions funds secured by Andrew Charlton from federal government and execution by City of Parramatta. 
Solution to Parking Problem  in Harris Park was suggested , subject to council approval. Possible 1500 sq metre lot on station Street to be developed as Multilevel Parking lot.

Little India celebrates India's 75th Independence Day

Little India of Australia celebrated India's 75th Independence Day at Harris Park. Gurmeet Singh Tuli, President of Little India emphasised the need of Little India to be recognised by geographical naming board of NSW. Harris Park business owners, leaders of Indian community and International students attended the flag hoisting ceremony.

Little India Australia celebrated Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s 553rd birth anniversary in Harris Park, City of Parramatta on 8 November 2022. Street Parade (Nagar Kirtan) was held in Harris Park,

State MP for Parramatta, Geoff Lee, visited Little India of Australia, in Harris Park.

We discussed the Free trade Agreement deal between Australia and India, which is going to help boost economy in both countries.
