Harris Park set to take the tempo up a notch

Full of live entertainment and delicious food, the ‘Your Street, Your Party’ event in Harris Park encourages locals to celebrate what makes their neighbourhood special.

On Saturday, May 28, people will come together on Wigram Street, between Marion Street and Ada Street, to enjoy the live entertainment on offer and check out the party area and family fun zone.

Starting with a “family-friendly vibe,” DJs and musicians are expected to “take the tempo up a notch” as the afternoon sets in.

Those attending will be able to enjoy a mix of cultural performances, local dance crews, bright and colourful roving entertainers and dance to the best of hip hop, RnB, soul and global beats.

There’ll also be plenty of places to sit and enjoy food and drinks, while also supporting local businesses.

Main stage entertainment:
12-2 — Cirkus Skool with Circus Bizurkus (includes face painting and balloon twister)
2-2.10 — Intricate School of Hip Hop – Workshop (Local Dance School)
2.20-2.50 — Western Sydney Samba Drumming and Dancers (local Drumming and Samba School)
3-3.30 — Urban Salsa Dance School performance
3.40-5 — K-POP Takeover (Korean Hip Hop)
5.10-6.10 — H3rizon (three-piece Soul/RnB band)
6.40-7.40 — L-Fresh The Lion (Punjabi Hip Hop Artist)

Please note that entertainment is subject to change.

Part of a NSW Government initiative to roll out street parties across Sydney and revitalise communities after the pandemic, the ‘Your Street, Your Party’ event is bought to locals through the joint efforts of local businesses, City of Parramatta Council and Investment NSW.
