Little India Australia, is a non-profit community organization and has been successfully engaging with the community in NSW. Our primary objective is to promote Indian cultural heritage, friendship and integration within multicultural Australia.
Little India in Harris Park’s vision, is to grow and strengthen the business district of Harris Park by positioning it as the “Little India” of Australia and develop the economic corridor between Australian and Indian trade.

The City of Parramatta has awarded a grant through its 2025 Annual Community Grants Program to Little India Australia for their Harvest Festival 2025 project, which falls under the Community Events category. This recognition was presented by The Right Worshipful, the Lord Mayor of Parramatta, Councillor Martin Zaiter, as part of the program.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji's birthday was celebrated at the NSW Parliament, with ministers emphasizing his teachings of spiritual growth, community service, and brotherhood. Key attendees included Donna Davis MP, Julia Finn MP, Gurmesh Singh MP, and Mark Coure MP.
Over 40,000 people gathered for a vibrant Diwali celebration at Little India, Harris Park, featuring electrifying performances, delicious food, and a strong sense of community. A heartfelt thanks to all the supporters, dignitaries, and organizers who made this event unforgettable!
